Forklift Driver FTC at RCL Foods

Job Description    

• RCL FOODS is seeking a Forklift Driver for a 3 Months Fixed Term Contract to join our RCL FOODS Division. The role will be based in Pretoria West and reports to the Logistics Contoller. RCL FOODS is looking for an individual with a take-charge attitude, has decision making abilities, has strong compliance and work ethic.
• RCL FOODS entrusts the responsible individual to contribute to the organizations operations by means of uploading of bag products - specific to Beverages

Minimum Requirements    
Minimum qualification and experience requirements

• Matric
• Valid Forklift licence
• Computer Literacy would be an advantage

• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Quick problem solving skills
• High level of honesty and integrity
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingless to work shifts, overtime and public holidays as per operational requirements
• Sober habits and reliable
• Punctuality an attendance reliabilty
• Ability to work under pressure
• Knowledge of SAFETY rules and HACCP principles

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Conduct forklift safety checks, report faults and replacement of gas
• Adhering to safety and housekeeping rules
• Daily cycle and monthly stocktake
• Loading/offloading the correct product at the right quantity for customers
• Receiving of crates and pallets
• Supply of crates and pallets to production
• Daily and continuous housekeeping of area
• Ensure crates and pallets arestored in theri designated storage areas at all times
• REport any non-comformances indentified to supervisor
• Capture received stock on SAP on time and reconcile with Admin team
