King James Digital (Part of Accenture Interactive) who prides itself on creating bespoke solutions to clients, is looking experienced Mid-weight Front-end Developer, to join the team.

The successful candidate must demonstrate good verbal and visual communication skills, be able to handle ambiguity and efficiently prioritise tasks (Jira).

This person must be an independent self-starter and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have demonstrable experience building and maintaining web applications with standard web technologies including: HTML5, CSS3, SASS/SCSS or LESS, JavaScript, (Vue, React or Angular are a bonus but not essential for this role).

• Good understanding of UX and UI are essential for this position.

• Must have demonstrable experience with web application preprocessors, predominately Node.js and Webpack.

• Must be familiar with front-end web development best practices, e.g. progressive enhancement, accessibility, responsive web design, performance and SEO.

• Have demonstrable experience with building component based web apps.

• Experience integrating with APIs (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Maps).

• Desirable: experience with Node.js based CMS (e.g. Strapie, ApostropheCMS) or experience working in PHP, .Net programming environments.

• Working knowledge with version control system GIT.

• An applicant must have proven a minimum of 4+ years of relevant work experience.

• Dev ops experience or exposure to AWS systems would be a bonus.

The applicant will be predominantly responsible for building high-quality responsive websites, assisting in coding HTML responsive mailers, helping dev team with updating existing websites and supporting projects rollouts.
