Managing the maintenance of rental properties to ensure that they are well maintained;
Showing vacant units to prospective tenants, answering their questions about the property and area, and processing lease applications;
Conducting background checks on prospective tenants to ensure that they have suitable financial backgrounds, employment histories, and criminal records;
Reviewing applications and other documentation to determine if applicants meet criteria specified by landlords;
Negotiating lease terms with tenants on behalf of landlords;
Preparing lease agreements for signature by both parties, including landlords and tenants;
Maintaining rental property inventories by conducting inspections of each unit on a regular basis;
Doing and recording comprehensive ingoing and outgoing property inspections when lease commence / terminate;
Dealing with and resolving landlord / tenant queries and disputes;
Managing monthly rental payments and follow up on arrear rental payments.
Education & Experience
Experience as a rental agent or sales agent will count in your favour;
Own reliable transport and be willing to work flexible hours;
Own laptop and access to reliable internet/WIFI is essential;
Registration with the PPRA (Property Practitioner’s Regulatory Authority) is compulsory and a valid, Fidelity Fund Certificate.
