General Assistant Potholes and Stormwater at Senqu Local Municipality

JOB PURPOSE

• Undertakes activities associated with maintenance of stormwater systems, potholes and safekeeping of tools and equipment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 8
• 6 weeks experience
• Physical fit and able bodied
• Required to work in all weather conditions and outside normal working hours during
• emergencies.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Performs activities associated with maintenance of stormwater systems.
• Performs activities associated with maintenance of Potholes.
• Undertakes activities and/or operations associated with safekeeping of tools and equipment.
• Acting as flagmen to assist with traffic control during roads maintenance
• Installing fabricated concrete pipe culverts.
