General Worker Divider Cleaner at Premier FMCG (Pty) Ltd

Purpose of the job:

• To maintain the overall effectiveness of equipment and plant on site

Responsibilities:

• Factory environment – hot and noisy
• Required to work outside of normal working hours (after hours and over time)
• Working with and on heavy equipment and plant (technical and mechanical)
• Clean Dividers as per the supplier recommendations.
• Lubricate divider.
• Strat divider to check that all oil oiling ports are open and delivering lubrication oil.
• Inspect Divider after cleaning, do daily checks as per supplier guidelines.
• Report any damages to shift foreman.
• Assist with divider change overs.
• Assist with Divider standard deviation recordings of dough pieces.
• Weekly and monthly lubrication of dividers.
• Assist Artisan in the make up area.

Qualification Requirements    

• Matric

Experience Requirements    

• 1 years’ experience in a production factory

Skills and Competencies    

• Expert knowledge in engineering
• Basic welding, grinding and painting will be an added advantage
• Industry knowledge – Food safety and Health and safety
• Analytical skills
• Accuracy / Attention to detail
• Communication skills

• Problem solving ability

Working Conditions    

• Factory environment – hot and noisy
• Working with and on heavy plant equipment (technical and mechanical)
• Required to work Saturdays, Sundays, Night Shift and Public Holidays as per shift roster
