    Governance Controller: Operations

    Key Duties & Responsibilities    
    Key Outputs and Accountabilities
    Reporting & training responsibilities:
    • Support the preparation of the CCBSA Functional Director report for governance and controls
    • Support the preparation of governance and finance committee reports on internal controls management
    • Accountable for highlighting key governance, control and process deficiencies to the operational teams and agree mitigations steps to close out
    • Provide training and guidance to the Compliance team on report writing
    • Provide training to operational staff on key operational changes impacted by a change in control and risk environment

    Internal Controls:
    • Subject matter experts who engages with relevant stakeholders (Finance, CCBA Internal Audit, and External Audit) on CCBSA’s governance and controls framework
    • Responsible for roll out of all changes to TCCC risk and control model and control self-assessment tools
    • Direct and regular feedback to the senior leadership teams of Commercial, Logistics, Manufacturing & Technical and Finance
    • Drive changes to the documented processes and procedures that reduce operational risk through partnering with key stakeholders
    • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of CCBSA functions and business processes during discussions with senior management and external auditors
    • Update all CCBSA internal policies and ensure alignment to TCCC Policies.Train all relevant staff on policy changes
    • Business partner with Commercial, Logistics and Manufacturing and technical functions

    Sarbanes Oxley, TCCC Risk and Control Model & Internal and External Audit:
    • Supports CCBSA continued compliance to The Coca Cola Company Risk and Control Model
    • Responsible for design of testing methodology based on risk evaluation
    • Accountable for the design and review of current internal controls

    CSA - Control Self-Assessment:
    • Responsible for the optimisation of the CSA tools, processes and reporting for CCBSA
    • Are the subject matter experts on CSA process compliance and risk evaluation
    • Support the roll out of CSA methodology into CCBSA operations

    Other
    • Support the reduction of IT system Segregation of Duties “SODs” and key mitigations
    • Promotes and actively contributes to a knowledge-sharing culture within CCBSA governance team
    • Support changes to IT systems that enable an improvement in the governance environment
    Skills, Experience & Education    
    Qualifications and Experience
    • Minimum BCom or equivalent qualification
    • >5 years operational experience
    • Previous governance & control experience would be advantageous

    Competencies
    • Subject matter expert on key CCBSA operational processes including Logistics, Manufacturing and Technical, Commercial and head office
    • Outstanding analytical skills to generate business insight on risks, controls and potential solutions
    • Strong operational knowledge
    • High attention to detail
    • Good self-management practices and able to work well in multiple teams
    • Ability to work with people at various levels of the business
    • Strong communication skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Reporting writing skills, translating large amounts of information into succinct, actionable points for management attention
