Job Description

• Meridian Services is offering a 12-month Workplace Experience Programme for unemployed Degree graduates seeking practical workplace exposure to enhance their skills and improve their career prospects.
• Based in Brackenfell, the programme provides valuable hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, and operational support, equipping participants with industry-relevant knowledge and experience in a professional working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with collecting, analysing, and interpreting business data
• Support the preparation of reports, dashboards, and performance metrics
• Capture, validate, and maintain accurate data records
• Assist with identifying trends and providing insights to support business decisions
• Support the analysis team with daily operational and administrative tasks
• Maintain documentation and ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and data confidentiality standards
• Perform general administrative and analytical support duties

Requirements

• Aged between 18 and 28 years
• Valid driver's licence is advantageous but not required
• Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a professional team environment

Fields of Study

• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
• South African citizen.
• Currently unemployed and available for the full 12-month programme.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, will be advantageous.
