Yara invites qualified Electrical Engineering Graduates to apply for a 12-month work programme at our Umbogintwini (Durban) Production Plant. During the programme you will gain exposure to and contribute to projects, maintenance, engineering and plant operations.
Task Exposure
Support the Maintenance unit, with the development of analysis methods to determine the reliability of components, equipment and processes, with a focus on electrical machinery and equipment.
Initiate elemental Electrical engineering studies
Assist with the implementation of Reliability and Maintenance Technical Operating Standards
Accurate reporting and documentation on Yara systems and classification and logging of information on various reporting platforms.
Providing reports, analysis and data to management when required. Present studies and findings to management for approval/feedback.
Conduct and or participate in all relevant audits, site walk abouts, safety initiatives.
Assist with maintenance Shutdowns and or planning.
