Graphic Design Intern at PayFast

• We are seeking a talented Graphic Design Intern to join our marketing team. As an intern, you will work closely with our creative team to develop visual solutions that communicate our brand message and engage our audience. You will gain valuable experience in the design process, from concept to completion, and have the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of projects.
• This is an internship with the possibility of full-time employment after a 6-month period.

What you'll be doing

• Collaborate with the creative team to develop visual concepts and designs that meet project objectives
• Create graphics, illustrations, and layouts for various mediums including print, digital, and social media
• Assist with the production of marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, and presentations
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas
• Research design trends and industry best practices
• Help maintain and organize the design files and assets
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Liaises directly with suppliers re artwork queries

What you'll need

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a minimum of 3-Year graphic design program
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• After Effects and Figma knowledge are advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• A strong portfolio that showcases your design skills and creativity.
• Is organised, deadline driven and good with time management.
