Our client, a well-established premium manufacturer of high-quality foam mattresses is currently looking for a Social Media Expert to support their office in Cape Town, South Africa.

In this role you will be responsible for designing, managing and updating artwork

for various print mediums such as magazines, billboards, newspapers et. as well as websites and other digital media such as Facebook, Instagram and

various video channels.

Requirements:

• Experience with video animation software such as After Effects or video animations and adverts (Uber, Facebook etc.)
• Proficient knowledge of CMS systems like WordPress
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suites such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
• Experience with creating print ready artwork and preparing files for print in multiple applications (Digital, Litho, Spot etc.)
• Knowledge of 3D software (Sketch Up or similar) For creating photos of beds and borders
• Knowledge of Google Search Engine Optimization and Facebook advertiser tools advantageous
• Knowledge in HTML, CSS and Bootstrap advantageous
• Experience in working with SQL Databases advantageous
• Ability to work under pressure within a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing, managing and updating artwork for various print mediums such as magazines, billboards, newspapers etc.
• Responsible for managing the websites and other digital media such as Facebook, Instagram and various video channels
• Manage workflow and maintain communication with customers, representatives and management to ensure deadlines and artwork requirements are met
• Responsible for media management ranges from Google Ads to Facebook posts and adverts for the client’s customers
• Understand that each customer has his/her own branding requirements and must be able to create new media following those specific set of guidelines
