Graphic Designer at Life & Brand Portfolio

Role Purpose

• Life & Brand Portfolio is looking for a mid-level Graphic Designer. The Designer will be responsible for creating design solutions, under the guidance of the Marketing Team, that have a high visual impact, have consideration of company goals and that contribute to fast paced work ethic, quick turnaround times and likes to be part of the team with a background in the restaurant/hospitality industry.

Your roles and responsibilities

• Using design software to create high-quality, innovative, and engaging visuals for a variety of restaurant brands daily.
• Provide a range of artwork and promotional assets for all marketing channels.
• Designing visuals for marketing purposes, such as content for social media; digital advertising ect.
• Designing visuals for internal purposes, such as internal branding and merchandise; digital and printed collateral for merchants; visual content required for sales and pitch decks.
• Working closely and collaborating with the team, ensuring deliverables are produced efficiently and promptly according to the needs of the business.
• Create/design within Mailchimp and comfortable sending weekly mailers on behalf of different brands
• Communicating regularly and clearly with all members of the marketing team, including regular reporting to the marketing manager.
• Executing on the design strategy of a project, and creating the elements, layout, and format required in order to align them with the creative leads’ intent, in a way that is consistent with the consultations and conceptualisation leading up to the project.
• Some experience in packaging design, as we have a few internal brands
• Providing insight and guidance to the team, on the latest design trends and technologies to ensure Life and Brand stays ahead of the curve

Work skills required:

• Approximately 3 to 5 years’ experience
• Degree level qualification in design related subject(s)
• Mac Operating Systems
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team member.
• Should be able to manage projects independently
• Experience in print and digital design in an agency/corporate environment.
• Enjoy and have an understanding of the restaurant/hospitality industry
• Experience in designing all kinds of marketing collateral such a posters, flyers, menu’s, social media
