Job Description

• Driving the visual evolution of a premium brand, this fixed-term contract position offers a hands-on opportunity to complete the comprehensive rollout of a newly established corporate identity across all digital and print touchpoints. The role acts as a critical creative catalyst, translating strategic design guidelines into practical, polished, and accessible business assets.
• Operating as a mid-level design specialist within a corporate environment, the successful candidate will assume full ownership of updating templates, business stationery, and marketing collateral. This 6 to 12-month fixed-term contract requires a highly organised, deadline-driven professional who can balance aesthetic creativity with structured corporate standards. Position is in Illovo, Sandton.

Key Responsibilities

• Corporate Identity Rollout: Complete the comprehensive integration of the new corporate identity across all digital and physical brand assets to secure market consistency.
• Stationery and Template Engineering: Design, update, and finalise highly professional, user-friendly Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel templates alongside essential business stationery, including email signatures, letterheads, and business cards.
• Collateral Development: Produce brand-aligned marketing and business assets, including brochures, flyers, event invitations, signage, presentation decks, and internal communication materials.
• Brand Governance: Apply corporate identity guidelines strictly across all visual collateral, ensuring the correct use of logos, typography, layouts, and colour palettes.
• Artwork Production and Supplier Liaisons: Prepare exact, production-ready design files for digital distribution and print, coordinating directly with external printers and production partners to manage quality and timely delivery.
• Asset and Version Management: Document refined brand guidelines and manage organised visual asset libraries to facilitate future internal use and version control.

Requirements
Essential Requirements

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design, or a closely related field.
• Proven mid-level experience operating within an in-house creative team, marketing department, design agency, or corporate brand environment.
• A comprehensive, professional portfolio demonstrating corporate identity rollouts, template creations, and diverse print and digital design collateral.
• Strong working knowledge of layout principles, typography, colour systems, print production, and final artwork preparation.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and collaborate on design feedback.

Desirable Requirements

• Prior experience developing or applying formal corporate identity guidelines.
