Graphic Designer & Video Editor at ASI Financial Services

Responsibilities

• Create and design visually appealing content for print and digital applications that is on-brand, and is appropriate for our various audiences;
• Create infographics and presentation materials to simplify communication of complex concepts and data;
• Work with and manage internal and external stakeholders to produce design-related templates and communications;
• Edit video clips for use on social media and marketing platforms;
• Create short videos to highlight, recap, and promote various endeavours and events;
• Work autonomously and develop high-quality concepts with minimal instruction;
• Manage timelines and prioritisation of workload, and know when to ask for direction;
• Work with the ASI Marketing Team in developing and executing communication and social media plans;
• Provide technical support for design- and video-related efforts;
• Optimise graphics and video content for social media and marketing platforms;
• Maintain organised content files, and help to organise and archive existing video and graphics files;
• Ensure all design-related work is approved by the ASI Marketing Manager and respective stakeholders;
• Manage and work with third party providers on Marketing objectives and outputs, where necessary;
• Work with and support the ASI Marketing Team to meet team objectives and outputs, where necessary.

Qualifications and Competencies:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in graphic design, video editing, communications, marketing or related field, or demonstrated success in relevant professional fields;
• Minimum 3 years related professional experience in a production environment or similar role;
• Strong visual communications skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts and data through images and video;
• Solid verbal and written communication skills;
• Thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and other design/video editing softwares (mainly Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects);
• Familiarity with best practices for graphics and video content on social media and marketing platforms;
• Technically proficient with the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve;
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with ASI Marketing Team and stakeholders;
• Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines;
• Flexibility in working with new issues, topics, and approaches.
