Key Responsibilities 

• Braise and grill meat / fish and vegetables with a high degree of skill.
• Assist in maintaining inventory by tracking, labelling, and replacing key ingredients.
• Prepare meat / fish and vegetables by slicing, cutting, shredding, and tenderizing them as needed
• Communicate with the kitchen manager and waiter staff to ensure the timely delivery of all meals.
• Follow all relevant food health and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a workstation that is both clean and sanitary.
• Maintaining high quality and hygiene standards as per restaurant standards
• Manage all preparation and presentation of food.
• Ensuring correct portion control are adhered to.
• Ensuring the food is delivered timeously and without delay.
• Flexible to work overtime when required.

Requirements 

• Grade 12 
• Atleast 3 years’ meat | fish grilling experience required
• Fish & Meat preparation is ESSENTIAL.
• Ability to work under pressure and with diligence
• Must be a clean and presentable individual
