Job Description

Purpose of the Job

• The Data & Analytics Business Engagement Lead will act as the primary liaison between business units and the central data & analytics team.
• This role is responsible for identifying analytical needs across departments, leading a team of data analysts and BI developers, and ensuring that data-driven solutions are aligned with business goals and deliver measurable value.

Business engagement

• Manage and lead all stakeholder engagement and communication and act as a liaison between business leadership, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration and alignment to the strategic priorities of the global business.
• Lead and manage the communication of the strategic benefits and value of enterprise architecture to stakeholders at all levels across the global operations. B
• Ensure and manage the provision of regular updates and reports on architecture initiatives and projects.

Data & Analytics value add

• Track and monitor the percentage of D&A portfolio aligned with business strategy and measure the extent to which D&A portfolio is directly supporting the organization's strategic goals.
• Manage and track the time to market for new IT initiatives and will be measured against the speed at which the team delivers new D&As that support business needs.
• Manage and track the Return on investment (ROI) for D&A portfolio and assess the financial benefits of IT portfolio investments, ensuring that the organization is getting a good return on its D&As spending.
• Manage and track the number of architecture deviations identified in the D&A lifecycle and to identify and address any deviations, ensuring consistency and maintainability

Develop and maintain IT documentation

• Lead the implementation of the D&A management frameworks and methodologies across local and global operations.
• Establish and enforce architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices across all enterprise D&A
• Develop and maintain D&A lifecycle documentation, including blueprints, roadmaps, and reference model.
• Measure the level of documentation completeness and comprehensiveness of the D&A portfolio documentation, ensuring that all stakeholders have access to the necessary information

People Management

• Promote a culture that supports high performance through performance management and employee engagement
• Mentoring, coaching and developing of the international teams
• Lead and develop a large multidisciplinary team, ensuring effective communication, training, and development opportunities

Qualifications & Experience

• IT related degree
• A Postgraduate qualification will be advantageous
• 5-8 years’ experience in IT with a minimum of 3 years in a Business Engagement role.
• Experience working with various user applications (SAP ECC, Syspro, Success Factors etc.)
• Experience in SAP BW, SAP BPC, SAC, Power BI
• Experience with data modelling, ETL pipelines, and data governance frameworks
