Group Financial Accountant at Clear Leaf

Job Description

Head office companies:

• Accounting for Debtors (Intercompany transactions)
• Accounting for Creditors (Incl. Creditor reconciliations and payment preparation)
• Cash book allocation
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparation of VAT reconciliation and capturing of VAT return on e Filling
• Support audits and liaise with auditors
• Budget preparation
• Prepare and/or review Financial Statements

Group responsibilities (assistance to National Financial Manager and Group CFO):

• Assist with BBBEE preparation throughout the year
• Income tax return completions
• Assist with Treasury function and Cashflow Management
• Assist with Monthly consolidated financial reports
• Assist with Annual consolidated budgets
• Assist with Ad-hoc improvement projects within the Group
• Assist with year-end (Incl. preparation and/or review of Annual Financial Statements and liaise with auditors)

Qualifications

• B.Com Accounting degree and Honours (CTA)
• Registered with SAICA as AGA(SA)
• Recently completed SAICA articles (1 to 2 years post article experience)
• Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) – Advanced (Macros and VBA not requirement)
• Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently
• Demonstrate interpersonal skills and business awareness
• Able to work under pressure
• Deadline driven
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
