Handyman AKPH at Lenmed Private Hospitals

Main Focus Areas

• The handyman is to perform basic maintenance of buildings, grounds, equipment and other small jobs that may be required from time and time.

Key Performance Areas: (include but are not limited to)

•  To perform basic maintenance of building, grounds, equipment and other small jobs that is required from time-time  Perform unsupervised basic maintenance of hospital facilities and equipment  Unsupervised tasks will include (but not limited to)  Painting  Basic Plumbing and maintenance of water reticulation  General cleaning and maintenance of Hospital property, workshops and plant rooms  Ensuring that all the public areas, Wards, Theatres, ICU's, waiting areas and entire hospital facility is well maintained  Interact with external and internal customers in and around the facility  Ensure job cards, plans and maintenance requests are carried out and completed to qualityhigh standards  Ensure that maintenance performed is according to required Health and Safety standard.

Post Requirements: (include but are not limited to)

•  Matric  Minimum 2 years working experience in a general handyman position  Service industry, hospital environment  SAP Experience preferably  Basic literacy with the ability to read and write  Basic Computer Literacy  Flexible in working hours/Shifts  Required to work standby
