    SPH Admissions Clerk

    Main Focus Areas

    • The Admissions clerk is responsible for welcoming and admitting patients to the hospital as well as dealing with general queries.

    Unit Manager : Trauma AKPH

    Main Focus Areas

    • The Unit Manager will also be responsible for monitoring and ensuring that Quality nursing care and service delivery is implemented and practiced within a multi-disciplinary team in accordance, the Unit Manager will be accountable and responsible for coordinating capacity building, mentoring, coaching, training and development in his / her unit.     • Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care
    • Promote health and wellbeing of patients and employees
    • Ensure the principles of infection prevention and all international standard precautions are adhered to
    • Implement group quality initiatives
    • Liaise with public liability regarding all incidents of potential risk to the business

    • A relevant nursing qualification ( B Cur Degree/ or relevant management qualification)

    SPH Registered Nurse ICU Trained (Re-Advertised)

    Main Focus Areas

    • The Registered Nurse will render and promote cost effective, safe quality patient care in accordance with hospital standards and policies and will further be responsible for direct and/or indirect nursing care of a patient or a group of patients, for assessing, planning, executing and supervising the implementation of care to meet patient needs

    SPH - Pharmacy Stock Controller

    Main Focus Areas

    • The Pharmacy Stock Controller is responsible for maintaining stock levels and stock control in the pharmacy storeroom and dispensary.

    Key Performance Areas: (include but are not limited to)

    • Follow up on back orders and ordering of stock.
    • Unpack and check stock received.
    • Measure and evaluate stock activity levels for stock and re-ordering purposes.
    • Maintain stock at agreed value targets (stock days).
    • Check expiry dates regularly and ensure the timeous return to suppliers and/or write off of stock .
    • Control of consumable cost of wards and theatres
    • Implement and control systems for stock control
    • Generate replenishment report to wards and ensure replenishments are done and sent to wards/theatres

    Post Requirements: (include but are not limited to)

    • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 Qualification
    • Previous experience in stock management
    • Intermediate computer literacy
    • Knowledge and experience of a pharmaceutical stock control system
