Post Requirements: (include but are not limited to)
- A relevant nursing qualification ( B Cur Degree/ or relevant management qualification)
- A post basic qualification in Theatre
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Unit Manager/shift leader in Theatre
- Compliance with the SANC code for a Registered Nurse and all applicable health care legislations
- Compulsory BLS certification
- Advanced Computer Literacy
- Knowledge and experience on Kronos will be beneficial
- Flexible in working hours/Shifts

Main Focus Areas
- The Registered Nurse will render and promote cost effective, safe quality patient care in accordance with hospital standards and policies and will further be responsible for direct and/or indirect nursing care of a patient or a group of patients, for assessing, planning, executing and supervising the implementation of care to meet patient needs
Key Performance Areas: (include but are not limited to)
- Practice patient care according to the Scope of Practice and assume total responsibility for these activities
- Contribute to the holistic care of patients
- Attend handover of report at shift commencement
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care

- Audit of health records to ensure compliance
- Ensure all stock is well controlled and managed, charged and credited appropriately
- Promote and maintain good public relations with patients, relatives and visitors
Post Requirements: (include but are not limited to)
- Registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse ICU Trained or equivalent NQF 7 qualification.
- Post Basic ICU / Critical Care Qualification.
- Relevant qualification and experience within a specialist area.
- Computer Literate.
- Flexible in working hours / shifts
- Capacity to implement and maintain standards of health practice required from all accredited bodies and appropriate health legislation.

Main Focus Areas
- The Pharmacy Stock Controller is responsible for maintaining stock levels and stock control in the pharmacy storeroom and dispensary.
Key Performance Areas: (include but are not limited to)
- Follow up on back orders and ordering of stock.
- Unpack and check stock received.
- Measure and evaluate stock activity levels for stock and re-ordering purposes.
- Maintain stock at agreed value targets (stock days).
- Check expiry dates regularly and ensure the timeous return to suppliers and/or write off of stock .
- Control of consumable cost of wards and theatres
- Implement and control systems for stock control
- Generate replenishment report to wards and ensure replenishments are done and sent to wards/theatres
Post Requirements: (include but are not limited to)
- Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 Qualification
- Previous experience in stock management
- Intermediate computer literacy
- Knowledge and experience of a pharmaceutical stock control system
