Selling Sales Manager at Astor Automotive Recruitment

What the role looks like
You’ll be part salesperson, part team leader and part deal-maker.

You’ll be expected to:

• Achieve your own monthly sales targets
• Help drive overall departmental volume and gross profit
• Generate leads and create your own opportunities
• Work showroom, online, referral and prospecting leads
• Assist Sales Executives with negotiations and closing deals
• Coach and motivate the team
• Monitor daily activity, appointments, test drives and follow-ups
• Keep the sales pipeline moving
• Work closely with F&I and Administration to get deals delivered
• Monitor stock availability, ageing and presentation
• Help maintain strong customer experience and repeat business

What we’re looking for

• Matric / Grade 12
• Minimum 3 years’ motor industry sales experience
• TATA experience is essential
• Proven vehicle sales performance
• Supervisory, 2IC or team-lead experience highly advantageous
• Strong closing and negotiation skills
• Confidence generating your own leads and new business
• Comfortable using CMS and Microsoft Excel
• Valid Code 2 driver’s licence
• Strong customer and relationship-management ability
• Energetic, ambitious and hungry to grow your career
• Resilient and comfortable in a high-expectation, performance-driven environment
• Able to stay calm, think quickly and keep moving when the pressure is on
