Hardware Repair Technician at Core Group

Introduction

The Hardware Repair Technician is required to ensure that all iOS devices are diagnosed within the prescribed turn around time. To provide adequate repair feedback on testing as requested.

Core candidates may be subjected to pre employment tests.

Key Performance Areas:

• Ensuring that dialy diagnostic target are met
• Ensure high quality of diagnostics
• Always up to date on the latest GSX articles and new self-study product material releases
• Ensure that GSX iOS Repair Qualification is achieved
• Ensure units are diagnosed within 4 hours of receipt
• Inventory management
• Up to date and accurate diagnostic administration and documentation

Requirements:

• Matric 
• Minimum 3 to 5 years experience
• Preferred technical experience with Apple iOS
• Technical understanding of iOS devices
• Technical ability to facilitate fault isolation
• Hardware repairs- Opening units, screen, battery & audio replacement etc.
• Cellular repair experience preferable
• Time management skills
• Strong administration skills
• Effective written communication skills
• Computer skills
• Ability to perform under pressure
• People manangement skills
• Syspro experience beneficial
