Head, Coverage Reporting and Analytics at Standard Bank Group

JOB DESCRIPTION

To provide the Coverage teams with regular integrated reporting and analytical insights on customer, account, transactional and geographic dimensions to drive and inform their strategic and tactical initiatives. To provide proactive insights into the business using various sources of data demonstrating a strong understanding of the business. To provide the strategic direction of the data environments to ensure robust processes that deliver automated, accurate, and consistent results that are aligned with CHNW standards and practices. The role covers the end to end processing of data, from sourcing, manipulating, analysing, visualising, and presenting the results.

Type of Qualification: Honours Degree
Field of Study: Mathematical Sciences

Experience Required

Personal and Business Banking

Experience Required: 8-10 years

Previous experience in designing, building and integrating data from various sources as well as managing big data and writing complex queries on different data platforms.  People management within a multi-disciplinary team.  Ability to deal with various stakeholders across a matrix environment and ability to foster good relationships and conflict resolution. Knowledge of regulatory environment (KYC; POPI; FICA and any other related regulations).
