Job Advert Summary    
Hello…an exciting new opportunity has just become available in our HINT area. We are looking to recruit a Head of Data and Analytics.

• The main purpose of the role is to drive the journey and transformation for each of HINT’s country operations to become data centric and analytics led in their business decisioning.
• HINT’s overall objective is to drive substantial bottom-line value by transforming each country’s key decision processes (e.g. sales, marketing, pricing, procurement, fraud, claims) to be led by data-driven insights and analytics.
• Driving the overall Data and Analytics vision and roadmap for HINT and each of its country operations.
• Driving senior buy-in and leadership for analytical decision making and advanced analytics.
• Defining the Data Architecture and delivering a Data Platform in conjunction with the HINT Head of Digital and Technology) to support the Analytics, Reporting and Insights journey for HINT and its individual country operations.
• Creating the data management processes to allow efficient and effective data access for key stakeholder groups across HINT (Actuarial, Finance, Operations etc).
• Designing, driving and implementing respective data governance processes across HINT Developing and maintaining actual data warehouse and/or data mart solutions for HINT and individual countries Driving enhanced insights/reporting across the HINT countries.
• Identifying, prioritizing and delivering on key business opportunities where improved insights and advanced analytics can drive bottom-line value.
• Supporting the development of the people capability required to deliver against the Data and Analytics agenda.

Key stakeholders: HINT Life and GI Managing Execs HINT Executive Head of Digital and Technology Country CEOs and MDs of the respective country licenses and their respective sales, marketing and operations teams including any reporting or analytics resources in countries HINT actuarial pricing and valuations teams.

Required Knowledge and Experience    

• 8-10 years relevant experience
• Strong business background combined with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Extensive experience as “Analytics Translator” Deep experience in Data and Analytics (Data architecture, Data engineering, Analytics, Visualisation, Predictive modelling)
• Excellent relationship management, facilitation and thought leadership skills.
• Strong communication skills (written and oral).
• Excellent people management and team leadership skills (in particular, with regard to Data Engineers and Analysts).
• Strong project management and delivery skills.
• Educational Requirements    BSc/MSc in Maths/Stats, Science, Engineering, Actuarial Science or similar
• MBA or a similar post-grad qualification will be advantageousPolicy
