Head of CEMEA Editorial Operations - Durban at Relx

About the Role

• As a Head of CEMEA Editorial Operations, you will provide leadership, strategy, and planning for the development and evolution of editorial, operational, and product quality, accuracy and timeliness across Continental Europe, Middle, East, and Africa.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with SVP-GEO and CEMEA commercial leaders to understand product strategy.
• Build high-performing Editorial Operations teams to drive product delivery and innovations.
• Identify global opportunity areas for the business through deep partnerships with global content operations leaders.
• Develop, iterate, and report on relevant operational metrics tied to strategic goals
• Inspire change through your credibility and collaboration-focus, and influence product operations roadmaps and business activation strategies across CEMEA, and ensure impeccable execution against strategy
• Provide insightful review, perspective, and direction on strategy and operating performance to the SVP, Global Editorial Operations
• Partner with commercial/product leaders to identify and leverage clear intelligence and data analytics to ensure accountability and meaningful progress
• Support planning and resource allocation grounded in best practices that bridge seamlessly from strategy to execution and is integrated with applicable financial planning processes, managing a budget and creating cost projections Requirements

Requirements

• BA/BS + JD, MBA, other advanced degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience, leading client-centric, data-driven operations
• Experience supporting and interacting with diverse and high level P&L stakeholders
• Experience managing budgets
• Experience leading through organizational transformation.
• Strong process, engineering and systems orientation
• Significant experience with outsourcing processes, from both an operational and procurement perspective
