Duties will include reviewing the existing compliance framework and CRMP’s, developing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will be professional, detail oriented and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities will include:
* Implement and manage a Compliance Plan ensure implementation of new compliance requirements and auditing company procedures, practices, and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risks.
* Develop and review company policies.
* Advise management on the company’s compliance with laws and regulations and assist in effective implementation;
* Create and manage effective action plans to address any short comings in policies and processes.
* Assess company operations to determine compliance risk.
* Establishing training programs to ensure all employees are educated on the latest regulations and processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business management, or a related field.
- 5 –10 years’ proven experience in a compliance officer role dealing with both the FSCA and Prudential Authority;
- Good knowledge of legal requirements and procedures applicable to the Non-life industry
- Brilliant oral and written communication skills.
- Highly-analytical with strong attention to detail.
