Head Of Data Analytics at Crypto Banter

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a robust data analytics strategy aligned with our business objectives, leveraging data to drive informed decision-making and strategic planning.
• Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of data analysts and scientists, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the data analytics function.
• Utilize your deep understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and smart contracts to extract actionable insights, contributing to the strategic positioning of our products.
• Oversee the development and implementation of advanced analytics models, predictive analysis, and data visualization techniques to enhance our understanding of market trends and user behaviours.
• Establish and enforce data governance policies, ensuring the integrity, security, and ethical use of data across the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and finance, to integrate data analytics into various aspects of our crypto products and services

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g. mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science)
• 2+ years of experience in a data analysis role, preferably within a startup environment or a fast-paced industry
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation
• Experience working with APIs, SQL databases and Python
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify key insights and trends from complex data sets
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and A/B testing methodologies
• Understanding of web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Mixpanel) and tracking implementation best practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and engineering teams
