    Head of Enterprise Sales

    About This Role

    We're looking for an experienced Sales Professional to lead our Sales Team. You'll be leading a team of high-performing Sales Managers, Associates, and Account managers, helping them develop their skills and deliver on their ambitious targets, as well as roll your sleeves up to work directly with our merchants.

    You'll work closely with the COO, reporting on progress for key initiatives, the Head of Marketing, collaborating on strategies to establish the Peach brand in the mid and enterprise space, and the Head of Ops, assessing where merchants need support.

    The role is well-suited for someone who is a proactive leader who has demonstrated success in building and running a multi-national enterprise sales team. The candidate knows what processes to set up and what tools to deploy. They're skilled at dealing with ambiguity, operating in a high-growth environment, managing high-performing teams in multiple locations and solving problems with limited oversight.

    The Core Focus Of Your Role

    • Hire, train and coach a high-performance sales team with a particular focus on customer segments from mid-market to enterprise
    • Develop the long-term vision and strategy for the team and manage day-to-day operations, with a focus on performance against key sales metrics
    • Be responsible and accountable for our annual revenue and client acquisition targets for all countries we operate in
    • Design and implement core sales and account management processes and the key metric associated with these
    • Create and execute on strategic sales plans to target new markets and customer segments
    • Set a measurable account management plan for target markets to ensure a high degree of client retention and contribution to client success
    • Set a strategic marketing plan for target markets that will contribute to the overall objective of client acquisition, client retention and growth in revenues for both peach and its clients.
    • Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks to meeting our plans and targets
    • Supply insights from merchants and assess trade-offs to assist peach tech team with making prioritisation decisions
    • Driving executive, business and technical relationships with customers and partners to establish new business in those markets
    • Enabling the regional field team to drive the day-to-day interactions with prospects in order to build long-term business opportunity
    • Develop long-term strategic partnerships in support of our key markets
    • Handle a high volume of engagements and the fast pace of the online payments market
    • Build strategic executive relationships with customers and industry thought leaders
    • Inspire, motivate and enable personal and career development of team members, both to Promote career growth and to increase impact for peach payments

    What We'd Like You To Have

    • 15+ years of sales experience with 10+ years in Sales Team Leadership
    • An MBA degree or equivalent
    • A great sense of urgency and follow-through, self-motivation
    • You must have previously led a multi-national sales team with a focus on mid-market and enterprise customers
    • Experience leading Sales and Operations in a high-growth technology environment across a range of customer segments - especially from mid-market to enterprise
    • Demonstrable knowledge of key Sales and Account Management processes and how to adapt and implement them
    • Demonstrated experience of ownership, drive, and delivering results is a must
    • Demonstrated passion for startups and new technology businesses
    • A strong comprehension of the African/Global Fintech landscape, digital payments and e-commerce business
