Oversee TMC Product Innovation, and Development, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives. Responsibilities include monitoring progress, making data-driven decisions, and managing new product development with a focus on liquids and cementitious materials.
Uphold a Zero safety incident record in Research, and Development labs, adhering strictly to SG Innovators Handbook and ICRF guidelines.
Facilitate the NPD Roadmap, supporting Innovation, and Development through the SG NPD Stage-Gate process. Focus on delivering sustainable and eco-friendly products that meet environmental and social standards and regulations, while maintaining digitized record-keeping for legal and product compliance.
Lead the Research, and Development function with a customer-centric approach, developing solutions in close collaboration with market, customer, and sales teams. This includes regular site and customer visits, optimizing cost and quality of products, and championing sustainable development practices.
Manage and build team capabilities, focusing on new product development processes, optimizing current work practices, and enhancing manufacturing processes to reduce costs and improve product sustainability.
IS THIS JOB FOR YOU ?
You will need to have a strong educational background, verified by a Bachelor of Science degree or Master of Science degree, preferably complemented by Honors and ACI awards.
You should possess substantial expertise in the field, demonstrated through a history of significant professional accomplishments such as registered publications or notable contributions to the field.
In terms of experience, you should have at least 8 years of relevant experience in a leadership role within Resin or Concrete, Paint Coatings, and Cementous.
A proven track record of managing large teams, including up to 15 members, and supervising multiple department heads. Additionally, experience in handling capital expenditure budgets is a crucial aspect of this role.
