We can’t live without…

• 10 years development experience of which at least 5 years in a Senior Developer/ Tech Lead or Architect role
• Microsoft Certified Professional/ Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer/ Relevant Degree or Diploma preferred
• Experience operating at senior levels in IT with a background in technical architecture, planning, design, and development.
• First Class communication and influencing skills with proven ability to explain and articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical people including front line staff and senior business and technology leadership.
• Proven Strategic Thinking with ability to see the ‘big picture’ allied to the ability to adopt an insight driven approach to complex change programmes with the awareness of operational implications.
• Proven experience leading and moving ‘as is’ to ‘to be’ architectures across business, application, data, and technology domains
• Proven experience in the development of reference architectures including principles, policies, standards, patterns, reference models and other elements.
• Direct experience in emerging digital technologies (e.g. IOT, API, AI, Social, Mobile, Cloud, Apps Modernisation)
• Knowledge and or Experience in Digital Ecosystems

• Experience in Data and Analytics Strategy and Development

Skills you need to have…

• Advocate of implementing DevOps practices.
• Strong programming / development background beneficial
• Cloud technologies experience (Azure / AWS)
• Containerization knowledge is beneficial
• A strong appreciation of Agile Practices
• Team Management and Mentorship 
• Very strong integration architecture skills

Objectives:

• Leading, Designing, Defining, Developing & Owning the Development of the Technology Road map and Architectural governance across all Technology platforms throughout the organisation
• Monitoring and assessing new technology and other advances in technical and application architectures to bring forward to the organisation
• Own the solution architecture development process, managing and overseeing third parties & internal resources in production of relevant artefacts.
• Develop architectural metrics and reports
• Establish standards for architectural involvement and governance within a dynamic environment and assist in the transformation of the organisation to agile delivery models
• Work with the Head of Infrastructure and Service to guide monitoring and performance efficacy
