    Head of Mobile Money. South Africa

    Head of Mobile Money dedicated for CU MTN is responsible for sales, delivery, operations, and financial result of Mobile Financial Services portfolio. The role is member of MMEA Digital services Customer Unit leadership team

    You will

    • Be accountable for financial results of the Mobile Financial Services portfolio for the Customer Unit.
    • Owns and conducts regular governance to drive operational and business excellence through effective important metric dashboards and measurements with Group and its affiliates
    • Continuously strive for efficient and optimized delivery through automation of processes, tools, and Ericsson Converged wallet capabilities.
    • Responsible as Program Director for Demands deployments as per SDLC practices
    • Provide financial and overall organizational performance reporting
    • Acts as the partner concern point for FinTech and Mobile Money customer’s executive leadership teams
    • Ensure compliance and ethics and exhibit exemplary role-model leadership behaviors
    • Sets the goals for the organization to deliver on contractual commitments and financial targets
    • Works closely with BA BDGS BSS Mobile Financial Services to facilitate feedback from customers for further enhancement of M-Commerce roadmap and portfolio
    • Close collaboration with SDU India to ensure the program is appropriately staffed as per agreed capacity
    • Work in close coordination with Account organization and CUs
    • Ensure Governance and Customer concern structure is followed in Demand management and Managed Services areas.
    • Continuous optimization of workforce and enhancement of Demand and handled services process and ways of working.
    • Support customer in preparation and delivery of services quarterly roadmap
    • Own Regular governance with customer business and technology units
    • Work in close coordination with Account organization and KAM.

    To be successful in the role you must have

    • proven track record of 10+ years in leadership positions within the telecom and/or ICT industry
    • 5+ years of FinTech experience as a technology partner for major telecom operators or the banking industry
    • Result oriented with the customer-first demeanor
    • Ability to lead multi-cultural and cross-functional teams, enabling and creating room to collaborate
    • Can handle stressful and ambiguous situations
    • Excellent financial and commercial awareness
    • Ability to work across a variety of different delivery unit types (complexity, ability, scale)
    • Developed analytical skills to identify trends, inefficiencies and value realization opportunities
    • Very good understanding of Ericsson Business Process, Financial and Delivery models
    • Excellent business, operation and financial skills
    • Good at handling resource planning and competence development
    • University degree in Technology or Economics, preferably MSC, MBA
