Head Of Security - Sandton at Clinix Health Group (Pty) Ltd

Head of Security is responsible for achieving a complete security management system in accordance with Clinix Health Group business plans and South African security legislations and agreed regulatory bodies’ processes and procedures. To oversee overall security duties and obligations of the company including direction, strategic development, performance and maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Advanced Diploma in Security Management, Security grades or relevant qualification.
• Active security guard license.
• 5+ years’ experience in security management position.
• Computer proficiency.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Create, maintain, and evaluate all new and old security systems, policies and procedures.
• Oversee the security operations of all Clinix Health Group’s establishments and premises.
• Create security policies and procedures, controlling budgets for security operations, and coordinating security staff.
• Develop security strategies, implement security procedures, and supervise security officers and guards.
• Investigate and eliminate all security threats and breaches to the company.
• Collaborate with hospital managers and other managers to determine security needs.
• Coordinate responses to emergencies and alarms, as well as compiling incident reports.
• Prepare surveillance equipment maintenance schedules and facilitating repairs in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular security inspections and write comprehensive security reports.
• Manage and oversee all security budgets.
• Recommends new safe security technologies.
• Maintain and improve mechanisms for risks assessment and provide feedback to all stakeholders.
• Manage and train security personnel.
• Hire and onboard new security personnel.
• Attend all Health and Safety meetings to address health and safety policies.
