We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Head of Special Projects to join our team. This is a high-impact role suited for a strategic thinker with exceptional project execution skills, strong financial and mathematical acumen, and the ability to manage diverse, business-critical initiatives.
As the Head of Special Projects, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of high-priority projects across the organisation. You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure each project is completed on time, within scope, and delivers measurable value.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and execute a wide range of strategic and operational projects across the business.
Develop detailed project plans, define scope, set objectives, and allocate resources effectively.
Lead cross-functional teams and ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
Analyse data, budgets, and financial projections to support informed decision-making.
Present project proposals, updates, and results to executive stakeholders.
Apply structured, logical thinking to solve problems and drive innovation.
Negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to optimise outcomes.
Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Mitigate risks and resolve project issues swiftly and effectively.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field (essential).
A postgraduate qualification would be advantageous.
4 -5 years’ proven experience in leading complex projects, ideally in a corporate or consulting environment.
Strong financial and mathematical skills, with the ability to analyse and present data confidently.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute with discipline.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and remain composed in high-stress situations.
