Job Description:

• Reporting to the Business, SETA’s and Gambling boards.
• Leading and overseeing the team for all BET training projects, including accredited offerings, induction, informal training, and e-learning. Setting goals and action plans for all projects.
• Filter new ideas and projects and oversee viable projects until completion.
• Train and delegate project management to appointed manager. Oversee progress of these projects.
• The initiation of continuous reviews and improvements to all training offerings.
• Seek opportunities for providing training outside BET to enable business growth.
• The development of new courses based on a skills gap analysis, training needs analysis and business risk assessment.
• Meeting the BBBEE scorecard requirements of the skills development element.
• Recruitment of new team members.
• Performance management of the team.
• The mandatory grant reporting (WSP/ATR) for BET.
• The review of the BET training Quality Management System (QMS), including the training policies and procedures.
• Creating Partnerships by sourcing external training providers to develop mutually beneficial relations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant Degree
• Computer Literate
• A Minimum of 7 years’ experience as a Senior Manager in a Training and Development environment

Advantageous:

• Registered as a Skills Development Facilitator (SDF)
• SDF experience
