Head of Technical Marketing & Communication at Xcede

We have partnered with a leading financial service provider, with offices throughout South Africa and who are currently recruiting for a Head of Technical Marketing and Communication. This is a hybrid position based in Johannesburg responsible for showcasing the selling and unique features of this business unit. You will support your key stakeholders in a manner that will improve the sales and profitable growth of this unit. You will also be responsible for ensuring your communications are tailored to the right audience, are easy to understand and at the highest quality.

What you will do:

•  Extract the unique selling points of the products and the various functions across the business unit and communicate these effectively.
•  Research and analyse key information to produce technical insights to highlight to your stakeholder and clients. This will include reporting, analyses, and the positioning of messages.
•  Perform competitor product comparisons and provide insights to ensure improved conversion and retention of clients.
•  Assist in the development of the business unit’s marketing and communication plan ensuring that the messaging lands correctly to all areas. This includes written, presentations and digital communications.

What you will need:

•  A Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification
•  Minimum of 5 years experience in a leadership role, ideally coming from an Insurance/Financial Services business.
•  Strong commercial acumen
