To manage and execute our Product Strategy
To manage and execute our WCellar Format Strategy, providing strategic oversight to drive P&L growth through effective strategy execution. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless execution of the WCellar Strategy.
Overseeing the execution and performance of WCellar Standalones and alcoves (Top 50 alcoves as priority) jointly with ROG
Responsible for building pipeline jointly with RED and launching new stores
Enhancing the in-store experience (customer experience strategy, training, etc) through leveraging suppliers
Stock Management with our DC's and stores
Compliance Management
Space, Productivity and Equipment Management
Maintaining and enhancing our Store Image
In-season Trading – delivering and executing our sales strategy
Budgeting and Expense Management
Expenses & Operational cost management
Staffing (to meet store viabilities) and commissions costs
Understand P&L (BPI) for each store
Understand the CAPEX cycle and inputs required
People - Collaborate with ROG HR in managing our staffing model
Team leadership
Managing projects
Minimum requirements
8 -10 years previous industry experience - a significant portion of which was spent at management level
Minimum 4-year business degree / post-grad qualification / MBA would be a strong recommendation
Demonstrated ability (8 years ) in sales, trade marketing or distribution
Retail / FMCG experience required, preferably within the Liquor Industry
Experience in Sales and Distribution in FMCG Liquor
Familiarity with diverse business functions such as Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain etc.
Sound knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices
An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills
