Health and Safety Coordinator - Estcourt at ESKORT

QUALIFICATIONS:

• SAMTRAC/GRADE A security Management/ computer literate.

EXPERIENCE:

• 3 years experience

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

• OHSAct/ security management

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Security management/computer skills/investigation skills/knowledge of the OHSAct/supervisory and management skills.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPA’S)

Health and Safety

• Ensure that the company is compliant to the OHSAct and other legal Acts for the field. Compile risk assessments / generate reports .
• Drive the SHE committee.
• Ensure all machinery is in a safe working condition. Identify and prevent risks on site.

Security Management

• Ensure that the contracting secuirty company provides services to protect all of the companies assets.
• Impliment and enforce secuirty measures.
• Compile reports . ensure that the premises is safe and secure.
• Manage the control room and the CCTV system.

Loss control

• Prevent loss of company property.
• Investigate incidents ,accidents and damage to company property.

Service providers

• Control and manage service providers , laundry , security, waste company,garden services etc

Employment equity Committee.

• Chairperson of EE committee. Assist in in the equity plan. Hold monthly meetings.

Disciplinary

• Chair and initiate disciplinary cases.
