Requirements

• Grade 12
• National diploma / Degree in Safety or Environmental Health
• Samtrac Qualification(Preferably Mining Samtrac)
• Driver’s license (Essential)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Mine Health and Safety Act 29 of 1996 legislation
• Knowledge of Environmental related legislation would be advantageous
• Must be from the Tshwane Municipality

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist SHE team to oversee and manage day-today functions
• Assist in developing, implementing, reviewing and improving company SHE policies,
• SOP’s, COP’s and risk assessments
• Schedule and attend weekly / monthly SHE meetings as well as committee meetings
• Assist with workplace inspections, audits and address all findings
• Conduct toolbox talks
