Minimum Qualifications / Experience:
- Grade 12 and qualified earth moving diesel mechanic (Red Seal / Trade Test)
- Code 11/14 driving license
- Must have relevant mechanical knowledge with regards to functioning and maintenance of heavy diesel vehicles.
- Mercedes truck knowledge would be an added advantage.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience as a diesel mechanic, working on earth moving equipment.
- Valid and up to date TMM competency certificates

Duties and responsibilities (not limited to)

Minimum Qualifications / Experience:

Duties and responsibilities (not limited to)
- Perform mechanical, electrical maintenance and installations in accordance with planned and preventative maintenance schedules and project plans.

- Adhering to strict safety guidelines and cognizant of safety risks
- Must have good knowledge and experience in a plant or similar working environment and be able to do fault-finding, isolating faults, repair faults and troubleshooting.
- Complete documentation, including inspection sheets as required.
- Fabrication of parts as required.
- Attend to machine breakdowns of mechanical and electrical nature for all equipment under engineering/production functional control on shift.
Physical Requirements
- Must be a South African citizen.
