We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health & Safety Manager to join our team.
As the Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing safety policies and procedures to ensure the well-being of our employees, contractors, and clients. You will work closely with all departments to identify potential hazards and risks, as well as provide training and support to promote a culture of safety throughout the organisation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Risk identification and documentation, risk analysis, risk planning, and risk monitoring and control.
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks.
Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure safety protocols are followed on all job sites.
Provide safety training and education to employees and contractors.
Investigate and report any accidents or incidents, and make recommendations for prevention.
Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, training, and inspections.
Stay up-to-date on industry standards and regulations, and make necessary updates to company policies and procedures.
Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness.
Communicate safety regulations and procedures to clients and subcontractors.
Conduct safety orientations for new employees and contractors.
Manage safety budget and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented.
