Healthcare Technology Assistant

Main Focus Areas
- The Healthcare Technology assistant will be responsible for assisting in the management, maintenance and co-ordination of all tasks and activities associated with Healthcare Technology within the hospital
Key Performance Areas: (include but are not limited to)
- Maintaining of all equipment in the facility
- Daily inspecting, testing and or calibration of equipment
- Ensuring safe handling and storage of equipment
- Ensuring equipment is available for all procedures
- Compile, manage and maintain an asset register of all equipment
- Co-ordinating all CM and PM activities
- Manage the CMMS system
Post Requirements: (include but are not limited to)
- Matric / N3 Electrical Engineering (Light current)
- A Tertiary qualification in electrical engineering (light current) /clinical engineering or studying towards a technical qualification will be advantageous
- Healthcare experience will be advantageous
- Flexible in working hours/Shifts
- Basic computer literacy
