About the job
- Indyvidual on this position will support the HR function in SA & SSA on Global Employee Support (GES) related activities relating to: HR accounting, payroll, employee administration and driving the employee/manager self-service agenda.
Responsibilities
- Product / Process Ownership & Delivery - delivery management of
- Onboarding activities
- Liaise with Onboarding team and manage the process with regards to start dates and local Onboarding requirements.
- Attending monthly governance calls and ensuring the location requirements are highlighted and managed.
- Offboarding activities
- Liaise with HR Transition teams around offboarding of employees.
- Payroll processing for SA
- Preparation of input and submit to vendor.
- Liaising with internal teams to prepare/gather payroll input
- Expat payroll preparation and submission to vendor.
- Review checking reports and liaising with payroll vendor on changes.
- Preparation and management of funding process
- Resolve queries raised around payroll.
- Management of pay/tax documents for employees
- Payroll processing for Nigeria
- Preparation of input and submit to vendor
- Expat payroll preparation and submission to vendor (when applicable)
- Review checking reports and liaising with payroll vendor
- Process payments to employees and statutory payments
- Preparation and management of funding process
- Resolve queries raised around payroll.
- Management of pay/tax documents for employees
- Liaising with payroll vendor to obtain all required statutory documents
HR Accounting
- Preparation and processing of SA Accounting entries.
- Submission of Nigeria Accounting entries to payroll provider
- Expatriate Support & reporting - Preparation of Overseas Database, HBP File, EBC File.
- Employee Administration & HR data management - ownership for the compilation and maintenance of HR systems and reports relating to
- Employee Data Management
- Ensuring staff movement are tracked and reported.
- Provide and compile employee statistical/biographical information for statutory reporting and internal reporting requirements. Headcount Reporting and Transformation reporting.
Training Schedule
- Monitoring of the absence tracking tool (GAT) as well as regional requirements in terms of updates/changes.
- Assist the HRBP's on HR admin tasks when required.
- Assist in drafting any employee related communication.
- Manage AnswerKey queries.
- Manage HR Shared Mailbox.
- Risk & Control - Assisting the comp and benefits manager with maintenance and preparation of
HR related TPO's
- Resiliency documentation and testing.
- Annual controls review process

GES SOP's
- HR MIS and monthly reporting on GES Metrics
- Statutory and Regulatory compliance submissions - South Africa
- Statutory and Regulatory compliance submissions - Nigeria
- Monthly Payroll Reconciliation
- Preparation of Quarterly Feds Reporting on Payroll Bank Accounts.
- Payroll to GL recons.
- Monthly GLRS certification
- Record Management
- Completion of governance presentation for HR eg. LORC/LMC Slides

Educational/Qualifications
Experience
- At least 4 years in an accounting or Payroll accounting related function
