HR Officer at Anglo American

Job Description:

The HR Officer will provide generalist HR advice and service to Technical & Sustainability (T&S) across all locations globally, across a defined range of HR activities in line with HR standards and policies.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide implementation support on HR policies, processes and initiatives.

• Support the recruitment service and onboarding process.

• Provide support to the HR Advisors on relevant HR requirements.

• Support the implementation of relevant HR Projects.

• Provide administration support of core HR processes & SAP Success Factors maintenance, be first point of contact for employee queries and benefits.

• Support a range of HR and employee relations matters in conjunction with the relevant HR Principal and HR Advisor.

• Demonstrate behaviour in line with health, safety and environmental standards.

• Demonstrate behaviour in line with the Group’s values, standards and a professional workplace.

• Participate as an effective team member in working collaboratively with your leader, clients, peers and relevant others (including from other teams where relevant) to achieve business goals.

• Operate in a cost-effective way, within limits set by your leader.

• Work within policies, processes and systems and advise any issues which impede your, or the team’s performance.

Qualifications:

• Degree level education

Role specific-knowledge:

• All areas of HR management such as resourcing, talent, reward, L&D or Performance Management.

• SAP or similar ERP systems
