Stefanutti Stocks Africa is looking for an enthusiastic HR Officer to join our team. The HR Officer will provide hands-on operational HR support and ensure consistent delivery of HR services across the Africa region. Working closely with the Regional HR Manager, the role will provide end-to-end HR administration, coordination, and compliance support across the full employee lifecycle.
The incumbent will provide end-to-end HR operational support across recruitment and onboarding, employee relations and employee engagement, learning and development, performance management, talent management, wellness, payroll, compensation and benefits administration, HR systems, compliance, and HR projects. This role requires a highly organised, detail-oriented HR professional who can work across multiple regions, stakeholders, and systems while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and alignment with Group policies and regional labour legislation.
Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements
3–5 years’ experience in an HR Officer or HR Administrator role within a multinational or complex environment
Minimum Grade 12 qualification
Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or related field (preferred)
Sound experience in HR administration across the full employee lifecycle
Experience working with HRIS systems (Sage 300, ESS)
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to manage multiple priorities across regions and meet strict deadlines
High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail
Knowledge and Skills
Strong understanding of HR operational processes including recruitment administration, onboarding, employee relations support, learning and development coordination, performance and talent management tracking
Knowledge of benefits administration including medical aid, provident fund, leave management, and payroll inputs
Ability to maintain accurate employee records, both manual and electronic, and support HR audits and reconciliations
Strong coordination and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Good working knowledge of HR compliance, documentation standards, and governance requirements
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with employees, line managers, service providers, and external stakeholders
Analytical and administrative capability to track data and generate reports
Proactive, detail-oriented, and service-driven approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a regional HR team
