    HR Specialist

    Responsibilities

    • Update employee records with new hire information and changes in employment status.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records across multiple systems and databases.
    • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives
    • Provide support and guidance on HR policies and procedures.
    • Responsible full cycle recruitment process including conduct employment checks and prepare job offers for successful candidates.
    • Facilitate onboarding and induction programs for new employees.
    • Assist with monthly payroll to ensure staff are paid accurately and on time, coordinating with other department that supply payroll information
    • Assist in reviewing employment and working conditions to ensure compliance with labour laws.
    • Maintain a strong understanding of HR laws, including contracts, terms and conditions, discrimination, dismissal processes, and grievances.
    • Respond to queries and requests for information on HR policies, working conditions, and performance management systems.
    • Support communication with staff on HR matters.
    • Provide support and guidance on disciplinary procedures and labour law compliance.

    Qualifications

    • Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or a related field.
    • At least 3 years of proven experience in an entry-level HR role.
    • Experience with full cycle of recruitment. 
    • Solid understanding of labor legislation
    • Familiarity with payroll processes.
    • Knowledge of HRMS is an advantage.
    • Fantastic interpersonal and communicative skills
    • Can work under pressure and solid time management abilities
    • Ability to effectively use computer software including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and HR software
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
    • Act as a reliable and supportive team member
    • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
    • Data-driven mindset and detail-oriented
