Job Description

• As a Human Resource Development Officer, you will ensure compliance with Mine Health and Safety Act requirements regarding maintaining the mining cycle within adequate working places in order to facilitate all mining skills training.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

• Maintaining a mining cycle in order to facilitate mining skills training
• Implement and supervise operational mining skills development and on the job training
• Interact with relevant stakeholders
• Allocate training activities
• Conduct skills Gap and implement evaluation and analysis
• Execute delivery the sustainability activities as relevant to discipline and set out in the Life of Asset Plan to improve sustainability performance over time
• Compliance in terms of MQA and QCTO requirements
• Compliance with Mine Health and Safety Act requirements in order to maintain the mining cycle training execution

This role is in the Human Resource Department and is at a D1 level reporting to the HRD Coordinator.
Qualifications
You will need the following:

• Matric
• NQF 5 OD ETDP Higher Certificate
• Assessor Certificate
• Moderator Certificate
• NQF3 Rock Breakers/Blasting Certificate (advantageous)
• 3 years mining experience of which 2 years as Snr HRD Practitioner or Shift supervisor
• ISO understanding (9001:2008) advantageous
• Computer literacy
• Valid driver's license
