Grade12 or equivalent qualification, human resource management experience will be an added advantage. Good communication skills (written and verbal) excellent administrative skills (planning, organizing and coordinating).
Sound knowledge of PERSAL system and computer literacy with extensive knowledge of Microsoft program (word and excel) knowledge of legislative frameworks i.e. Employment Equity Act, Skills Development Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Public Regulations as amended and PFMA. Ability to work under pressure.
Duties :
Administer the operations and functions of human resources in the institution. Implement conditions of service and benefits. Implement recruitment and selection policies and procedures.
Leave administration, employee exist and maintain confidentiality. Maintain record keeping and filing of HR documents. Provide an audit trial for easy retrieval during investigations and audits, trace movement of files, and process documents.
Capture leave and claims on Persal system and process other documents to e-government daily. Provide accurate information/advice to all stakeholders. Address human resource administration enquiries and able to meet deadlines. Accept responsibilities given by the supervisor from time to time and report to the supervisor.
