Grade 12 certificate with National Diploma (NQF Level 6) / Degree in Human Resource Management /Public Management or equivalent qualification. Valid Driver’s License.
A minimum of 3-5 years’ functional experience in Human Resource environment. Persal certificate (minimum of 3 incl introduction to persal) competence/knowledge. Sound knowledge of the Public Service Act and Regulations, collective agreements, OSD requirements, Code of Conduct, and other relevant public service prescripts. Ability to work under pressure.

Duties :
Supervise and undertake the implementation and maintenance of human resource administration practices. Human Resources Provision (recruitment and selection, appointments, transfer/relocation, verification of qualification, render secretariat functions during selection process, absorptions/placements, monitor probation periods etc.) implement condition of service and service benefits (leave, Pillir, housing, medical aid, injury on duty, long service recognition, overtime, facilitate termination of service and pension claims process, allowances) Facilitate human resource planning and information management systems including maintain compliance in terms of HR information processes.
Monitor HR policy implementation. Monitor persal staff establishment. Approve transaction on personnel and salary administration system (PERSAL) according to delegations, performance management. Assist in facilitating the provision of employee wellness and employee relations. Prepare reports on human resource administration and statistics. Handle human resources administration enquiries.
Manage enquiries from the internal and external clients. Supervise human resources/staff Allocate and ensure quality of work. Personnel development. Apply discipline. Assess staff performance.
