    Human Resource Officer Level 7

    Requirements :

    • Grade 12 certificate, National senior certificate, or NQF Level 4. A minimum of 3 years' experience in an Human Resource environment. PERSAL introduction certificate.
    • Knowledge of the Public Service Act and Regulations, Skills Act, Skills Development Act, South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA), National Qualifications Framework (NQF), Performance Management Development System (PMDS), Policy and Procedure on incapacity Leave and Ill-health retirement (PILLIR), and Labour Relations Act. Presentation and Facilitation skills. Must be able to work independently. Report Writing skills and communication skills (written and verbal).

    Duties :

    • Ensure training and development compliance is adhered to, as well as the incorporation of all relevant prescripts. Develop and implement workplace skills plan in line with the Skills Development Act.
    • To ensure that incorporation in terms of the Sector skills plans into the organizational skills plans is properly executed. Identify training needs and formulate training programs for the organization.
    • Compile training databases. Facilitate needs-directed courses/seminars/workshops and conduct induction and orientation programs. Implementation of PMDS. Advise management and staff on PMDS issues. Ensure the capturing of PMDS on the Persal system. Assist in facilitating performance evaluation and induction of new employees. Monitor Performance Management and Development Systems in line with PMDS Policy. Facilitate the Implementation of the Employment Equity Plan.
    • Compile monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports. Coordinate bursaries. Facilitate and coordinate Learner-ships/In-Service training and internship Programs. Management and implementation of Policy and Procedure on Incapacity Leave and Ill-health retirement (PILLIR) and absenteeism. Assist with other Human Resource Administration duties.
