- Responsible for reporting any faults on the telephone system and photocopier machine and liaising with the ICT department in this regard. Utilize the telephone management system to monitor telephone accounts, including printing reports, verifying information, and submitting them to the manager. Ensure that all telecommunication accounts are up to date. Perform any other delegated work given by the supervisor in accordance with various requirements of the unit.

Requirements :
- Grade 10 /Abet level 4 certificate or Equivalent Qualification. Must have good knowledge of linen and theatre instrument sterilization. Must be prepared to work shifts (including weekends and public holidays). A Minimum of 1 year experience in a hospital environment will be an added advantage.
Duties :
- Folding, packing, and autoclaving of linen. Washing of solid instruments and packing. Packing of single instruments and sharps. Sterilizing of loan sets. Count and control of instruments.
- Packing of packs used in the ward. Issuing sterile packs to wards and casualty and preparing disinfectants for cleaning the theater and washing instruments. Perform any other work-related duties as instructed by the supervisor.

Requirements :
- Grade 12 certificate, National senior certificate, or NQF Level 4. Knowledge of the Persal system and proven ability to work on it are recommended. Good telephone etiquette and good interpersonal skills. Capturing skills.

- Implement human resource administration practices. Recruitment and Selection (Advertisements, Appointments, Transfer, verification of qualifications, secretariat functions at interviews, probationary periods). Implement conditions of services (Leave, Housing, Medical, Injury on Duty, Long Service Recognition, Overtime, Relocation, Pension, Allowances, PILIR, pay progression, and grade progression.
- Coordinate Performance Management. Termination of service. Creation of new members’ staff file, ensuring safekeeping of documents, and filing of all related documents. Capturing leave, overtime, and other related transactions on the PERSAL System. Daily coordination of all related activities and participation in the compilation of monthly reports. Execute any lawful instructions given by the team leaders.

Duties :
- Ensure training and development compliance is adhered to, as well as the incorporation of all relevant prescripts. Develop and implement workplace skills plan in line with the Skills Development Act.
- To ensure that incorporation in terms of the Sector skills plans into the organizational skills plans is properly executed. Identify training needs and formulate training programs for the organization.
- Compile training databases. Facilitate needs-directed courses/seminars/workshops and conduct induction and orientation programs. Implementation of PMDS. Advise management and staff on PMDS issues. Ensure the capturing of PMDS on the Persal system. Assist in facilitating performance evaluation and induction of new employees. Monitor Performance Management and Development Systems in line with PMDS Policy. Facilitate the Implementation of the Employment Equity Plan.
- Compile monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports. Coordinate bursaries. Facilitate and coordinate Learner-ships/In-Service training and internship Programs. Management and implementation of Policy and Procedure on Incapacity Leave and Ill-health retirement (PILLIR) and absenteeism. Assist with other Human Resource Administration duties.
