Human Settlements Officer at Setsoto Local Municipality

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Grade 12 and Post Matric qualification will serve as an added advantage. Candidate must have minimum of 5–8 year’s proven relevant experience in Human Settlements field.
• Candidate must be computer literate (Microsoft Office). Candidate be in possession of Valid South African driver’s license preferably Code 08.

COMPETENCIES: 

• Conduct quality check on the work of subordinates for errors and omissions before submission.
• Ensure that all the information is available in the preparation of documentation.
• Prepares considered high-quality written communications which may include internal and external communications.

DUTIES: 

• Coordinates the administrative functions to support the Informal Settlements and Housing Sector Plan.
• Defining / adjusting the role boundaries and workflow process against laid down service delivery requirements and statutory regulations.
• Attending to and resolving queries relating to informal settlement housing issues both telephonically and visit by public.
