National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems, or a related field coupled with at least 2 years working experience in an ICT helpdesk, first line support, workstation support, or service desk role.
Be exposed to ITIL-based service desk environments and tools (e.g. Spiceworks, Fresh service, ManageEngine)
Familiarity with Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and endpoint protection systems. A valid driver’s license is a prerequisite. Registration with relevant professional body will be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the ICT Network & Security Engineer, the incumbent will be responsible for: Serving as the first point of contact for ICT support queries (hardware, software, printers, and applications)
Log, categorize, and resolve tickets using the ICT Service Desk platform Escalate complex issues to second-line support or relevant ICT specialists Assist users with Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint) Troubleshoot login, access, and configuration issues Support remote and hybrid users with VPN and collaboration tools
Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices Coordinate repairs and replacements with vendors or internal technicians Assist with hardware rollouts and software deployments
Create, disable, and manage user accounts and group memberships in Active Directory and Microsoft 365 Reset passwords and manage multi-factor authentication (MFA) queries Enforce ICT security protocols related to end-user access Maintain up-to-date support documentation, FAQs, and user guides Provide weekly/monthly reports on ticket volumes, resolution times, and trends
Provide basic user training and awareness on ICT best practices, cybersecurity, and new tools Support ICT team in rolling out ICT awareness campaigns or updates Ensures compliance with all LNW’s policies and procedures requirements, code of ethics and confidentiality.
